John Mayer Concert

On Monday night Lacey Jean hooked us up with tickets to John Mayer at the USANA Ampitheatre. It's an outdoor theater and most of it is grass so we brought our blankets and relaxed (and danced) the night away! It was so much fun! We sat pretty far in the back so Jennie and I decided we needed to get a closer look. We became friends with a few guards and were able to get pretty close. John Mayer would say the weirdest things when he wasn't singing, but over all it was a great concert. Thanks Lacey for the fun night out!

My friend Katy happened to be at the concert, so while Jennie and I were out we met up with her. She had great tickets in the seated area. You can see John on Jennie's shoulder.

Ok, so Hudson loves the camera so we obviously take lots of pictures of him. I hope these pictures make you laugh! This first one is with grandpa Lex (chief Moqui) at the cave and cousin Chamberlain. I don't know what face my dad is making here.

He was being so funny the way he was eating his mac and cheese, so I grabbed the camera and, of course, he had to put the bowl down the bowl and give the camera a big smile.

His first big bump on the head from learning how to walk, he's almost 100% walking, but he still has little falls every once in a while and this time he hit the middle of his forehead on the leg of the table.
Tim sat Hudson down in his highchair and then he turned around to clean the tray and when he turned back around to put the tray on Hudson was sitting like this in the chair. What a funny boy!
Finally, this last one was when we were driving home from grandma juju's house and Tim and I turned around and this is how he was sitting in his carseat.

Hudson's 1 Year Pictures!!

They finally arrived!! We got these pictures taken for Hudson's first birthday and we really are lovin them! Tim's friend, Jen, from work owns a photography business and we had her do them down at the Riverwoods Condos. Here are a few (ok a lot) of our favorite ones!

I love this picture of my boys. It was one of those practice, random, test type pictures and it is one of my favorites!

This is Tim's favorite picture. Hudson was totally cheesin it up on his own. He is the funniest kid around a camera.

Hudson's First Birthday

Hudson's 1st birthday was on June 11th. I know that this is way late but hey I'm still new at this, and besides, I was waiting to get his birthday portraits back to post them but that is taking longer than I thought, so here are a few of his special day. Hudson was such a trooper running around with mom doing who knows what that day so he didn't get the full nap that he needed, so in most of the pictures he is making a funny face! We had a bbq at grandma Juju's, opened presents, and, of course, had some delicious cake. I can't believe he is 1! I love him so much and can't wait for more birthdays!

I was really excited for Hudson to dig into his cake and get it all over, but as you can see he touched the candle. OUCH! He burnt his little fingers and for the rest of the night he would scream if the cake was near him.

Tim wanted to make Hudson's cake, so I let him although I was a little worried that it wouldn't turn out, but he suprised me with this "artistic"(as he put it) sail boat! He ended up doing a great job! Thank you babe!
